On my way home from Spain.
Having to get a ferry back to Plymouth instead of Portsmouth, on 1st Oct.
I have payed for Britstops this year, but I have left my book at home!
Could anyone recommend a place to stop overnight between Plymouth and Bristol near the M5 which is in the Britstops book. A pub would be good where we could have a meal.

Try Chelston Motorhomes at Taunton. About a minute off the M5 Junction 26 - TA219JE Pub right opposite!

They are in the Britstop book, but is also a well known stopover so not giving anything away;)

Yep would second Brewerydaves suggestion- we stayed at the travelodge when visiting Chelston which is the other side of the pub and it was very nice, although quite new. Popular with the locals too. They don't do b'fast but there's a garden centre about a mile up the road (plenty of easy parking) yummy! The staff at the pub recommended it to us.
