On and off for many years.
My new book has arrived!!!!

I think it is much better in layout than last year and more hosts in Ireland (North and Republic).

Great work @BritStops

We'll be using it a lot when we are in Ireland. There is one right where we want to be :) - a place with no proper campsite.

Just bought it. Can anyone comment on 'large' motorhome... Our new one is just over 7.5m... should we stick to sites that can accommodate large or are we only just normal size?

I didn't get the 2016 book but was thinking of buying it this year as used it so much in previous years. I really like stopping at pubs and farm shops rather than campsites. Thanks @Puddleduck for reminding me I need to order it

The Stop descriptions refer to "over 30 feet" which is just over 9 metres. If in doubt check on Google street view &/or give them a call. (I always try to phone anyway just to check they're not closed after a fire[!] or having an event etc.)

Yes, you're normal sized (y)

Unless there's something specific in the notes for the location don't worry about it, you'll be fine (y)

Are there plenty of britstops in Scotland, the earlier editions didn't have a great choice

58 in Scotland.
It's probably not so easy to get places signed up because [1] off-site camping is much easier than the rest of the UK and [2] a lot of Scotland is not very heavily populated!

That's about 10 more and you are right about the free camping probably being an issue.
