My wife was eavesdropping a couple on the ferry the other day and told me one of them had said that Brits in aires were being ‘targeted’. I couldn’t establish whether they were really being targeted, as apparently this lady used the word targeted a lot when explaining why she was moving back to the UK, as ‘all the French’ were targeting them. It would seem they just were not being as ‘nice’, and she labelled that ‘targeted’.
It was also mentioned to be happening in Tours and le Mans.
I sent my wife back to glean more, but the conversation had moved on.
Has anybody heard of this happening?
