A new site has just been opened in Jersey. It is for self contained Motorhomes/Caravans (this is not a campsite, so does not have a toilet/shower block). It is similar to an Aire in France.
There are five pitches, all on hardstanding, pitches have electricity points and water.
There are facilities for grey water and sewerage disposal. Shops, restaurants, the beach, cycle and walking tracks are all close by. THIS IS AN ADULTS ONLY SITE. There is a recycling plant close by, so please be aware that there may be some noise during working hours. This site will be open all year . For further information please see the 'Visit Jersey' website, under Hideaway Motorhome/Caravan Stopover.

If its like an Aire, what possible reason is there to make it Adult only ???
Seems a very weird move but good for anyone planning to go there.

Presume you still have to get a permit to travel to Channel Islands?

The maximum stay permitted is 28days. A permit for your vehicle is required by Jersey law. We can arrange the permit for you once your booking is confirmed by us. Charges are from £13 - £20 per night according to season. This is for two persons and a Motorhome or Caravan, and includes electricity and water. There are additional charges for extra adults, dogs and trailer/extra car.
Please do not hesitate to email us on djwindsurfer@hotmail.com for further information.

That's a reasonable price (y) It's a shame it's such an expensive crossing. I just looked at the prices :Eeek::Eeek:
