Just in case anyone missed it, Andyman has kindly agreed to bring a set of weigh scales to the Bring and Buy sale. Not for selling but an opportunity to get your unit weighed to see how overweight you are.
a kind gesture I feel.
Also been out to Wrenbury at the weekend on a church sponsored Dog walk, so have a lovely route planned for Sunday morning of about an 1 hour. Gentle and refreshing after a long hard party.

Just had a PM from the motorhome fun stalwart papajohn.

Papa john will be making an appearance at the bring and buy :thumb: He will answer all your questions on errecting drive away awnings and the art required to ride a scooter accross a wet field with a bottle of beer in hand

Also I have noticed there is a possibility that the Saturday could see the last 16 England match at 7-30pm. fear not as I will bring my 40 inch telly from home and create a fansfest outside my van for the footie fraternity. however. with the performance against Japan today, I shall probably not need the tv as it will be all over by then:Sad:

there will be a small 'appearance' fee and anyone wanting advise on drive-away awnings will pay through the nose

bringing my new (last year) awning sunscreens this year....far too much trouble erecting the awning just to stick the cadac in.oh:

demonstrations of drinking and driving scooters will not be taking place as i no longer have a scooter....of course, if some fool wants to lend me one.......

So is you could PM me back as soon as is possible that would be great. I have also asked where people would like to be pitched in terms of (some people make more noise than others) Just in order to try keep people happy. I would of course anticipate no music past midnight and certainly no generators past 10pm.

The Bring and BUY aspect is exactly that, bring something that you used previously that no longer need. Please do not stock up with car boot type stuff. It should be loosely motorhome related, no transit vans packed full of junk, No hot dog vans, no ice cream vans just your motorhome please.


The cooking aspect will take the format of the following. a set time (to be arranged) will be set for you to bring your delightful dish over to an american style dinner. You do not need to cook for 50 vans, just provide a sample of what you have cooked. Nikki and helpers will collect the recipes and cooking instructions and sort out the rest. It really can be something really simple, if you do not wish to cook but to just come and throw a burger on Family Guys BBQ thats fine but I do hope you will join us. IT CAN BE REALLY SIMPLE COOKING, IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE ALAN CARTE :Blush:
You may prepare something at home that can be re-heated provided that it could of been done in a Motorhome. Hopefully they will all then be put on to PDF files to enable downloads to support the site.


As I am sure you are aware, it can be a bit daunting getting things organised for so many vans, so I would really appreciate the information back ASAP to help me get things organised.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!!!

If you have an RV you need to enter through the field Gate as it is quite tight going in the orthodox entrance. Therefore if you are in an RV and wish to arrive prior to Thursday it is imperative that you let me know as I will need to make arrangements for the gate to be open.
All euro vans please enter through the normal entrance passing the pub as this will help Graham and Jean (Jag) who are going to help with the welcomes.

Should there be inclement weather, we will have use of the hall, there is also crown green bowls should anyone like a go and fishing in the canal.


There is still space if any more wish to come.

A) Yep spoke to Joe today and we are the only rally, last year we fitted 40 vans in to half the field, this time we have it all.

B) yes, Jim has a special dispensation certificate for Gypsies allowing you to join us through the (secret entry)
