Brerad,Snow, snow drifts

    Well I said the snow is bad in Northern France.....the local roads are very bad with large snow drifts very high....
    And because we have no shops in our farming village....Bread is essential...
    Just now a very very old Tractor (older than the one below) has just arrived two men with a steel box on the rear of the tractor hydraulic lift for milk churn carrying ...Loaded about a meter and a half cube loaded with French Bread in plastic baskets....delivering bread to there customers.....the Boulongerie is about 15km away in another village..:thumb::thumb: ...it is bleak and very cold with the wind chill...those two men must be frozen stiff on a old open tractor

    left sunny spain on friday and this what i woke up to this morning ! a bit of a shock to the system. next year not coming back till mid april !!

    Same service here in St.Cyr ... bread brought from 5kms away ... and gas bottles ... tractors clearing the snow already at quarter to midnight last night ... :Cool:

    I still don't get that bit every time I go in asda some nice young lady rolls her eyes and out comes the famous words
