Sort breakdown insurance.......Anybody got any recommendations for breakdown insurance for 3 months touring in Morocco? We are insured through Saga, but they don't cover breakdown in Morocco.

Breakdown Insurance Marroco

Search through the Morocco 2014 thread there is a wealth of info there. ADAC a German company were able to fulfill our needs. Twelve months European cover including Maroc 70euros or there abouts.

Hope you don't need to use it.

Also check that your insurance company gives you a green card, else that will cause problems , if you can not get eigher with your insurer consider changeing . Comfort insurance are worth a try, as Arnica said reD through the Marocco threads 2013 and 2014, a mine of information on these. From sunny Essaouira Morocco.

Breakdown in Morocco is NOT available...

What you can get is a sort of " get it fixed, keep receipts and claim back what you can". Do not expect an Rac or AA type service...

Comfort insurance who I am with operate as above....
ADAC. are similar but there is some confusion about them taking on new members this year.. Conflicting reports as some people say they have contacted them and been told they have stopped taking new members, others seem to be able to join..oh:

Last year many funsters did join ADAC and have now done renewals but you need to clarify what you are getting...

I was advised to carry a spare wheel, jack and brace plus a replacement fuel filter... Touch wood, 2 trips now and no issues.. Currently at Asilah and returning into Spain tomorrow after 5 weeks... One. of our group had a blow out but obtained a replacement tyre at Zagora. :thumb:
