Any suggestions for Breakdown cover for 6 metre , 3850kg , 20 year old A class.
insurance have quoted £125 with eu cover ( not sure how long yet)

Lots.I looked and then saw the greyed out-add european cover for just £96 ( greyed because I had got that far with quote) I didn’t bother going any further.

I‘ve also found a lot of the breakdown cover firms will only give quotes on vehicles 16 or 19 years old, so that puts me out of the running.

We have RAC full European breakdown and recovery tagged onto our insurance that we have via Advance Insurance.
Our van is 7.3 metres and 3850Kg and the cost for the RAC cover was £108.64

We also have a Nationwide flex account and we used this to recover the PVC we has when it packed up a few years back.

Anyone any idea why the AA do not cover Motorhomes over 3.5 tonnes?

We get our breakdown with the insurance through Comfort; the breakdown part is just over £60. Our MH is 4.5 tonne and 18 years old. Age has never been mentioned by them.
