You just ask for an English speaker and one will be found within minutes, that's if the original person cannot. It has never been a problem. They also conversed in Spanish with the garage on our behave, it really was as trouble free as any break down can possibly be.

We got ours through Safeguard insurance in with the van insurance covers us with unlimited travel in Europe haven't needed it out here yet hope I don't but they were very good when we broke down on the way to Scotland.

Again no problem,,,they use local offices in the country you break down in to contact you and arrange repairs or medical treatment etc etc. The Germans are so efficient. BUSBY.

We will be using ADAC for next year. At the moment putting the jigsaw together for this years trip. Getting there. Just changed cash at 1.325 so that is another piece of the puzzle put to bed.

Anyone using Britannia Rescue we under 8m there price £130 for UK and European cover

Motorhomes - must not be more than 8 metres in length or a weight when fully loaded not exceeding 7.5 tonnes and must be a recognised make and model which has been coach-built for that precise purpose. You must always carry a legal and serviceable spare wheel or a manufacturer supplied or approved emergency tyre inflation kit and equipment and keys for any tyre security devices when supplied by the manufacturer.

Haven't looked at Britannia, that's seems reasonable? Is that for any number of trips for the year?

ADAC,,,no weight length or height limits i can see. No time limits,,,only thing is your not covered until 50 km from home. I can live with that,,,just ring my local garage...Approx £80 a year for both of us any where inc Morrocco....Would not look any where else...BUSBY.

They cover you and your partner in any vehicle,,,mine is 19 years old...BUSBY.

The prices are fixed. Any vehicle you are travelling in is covered. 50k only applies to members living in Germany. You must request 'PartnerPlus' to get full benefits outside Germany (This has nothing to do with spouses!). In line with all (as far as I know) other schemes recovery to home- country is limited to the value of the vehicle. In the past, before discovering Adac, we had all sorts of breakdown cover - AA, RAC, Green Flag, GEM, none of which offered anywhere near the same cover for anywhere near the price, and some only helped up to 3 times in a year. For under €100 we, that is the whole family, are fully covered anywhere in Europe & all countries bordering the Med., in any of our vehicles - that is 8 vehicles, one MH & 7 cars/4x4s ... it's a 'no-brainer'.

Phoned ADAC chap who answered the phone could only speak a little english transferred through to a chap with perfect english.
Gave him my details payed the money received a email job done.
