Up until now we have had ADAC but will soon need to find another company. Does anyone know of one that will cover 18 years plus motorhome?

When we bought the Rienza we asked a couple of insurance companies about breakdown and recovery . Most would cover for breakdown but not recovery.
Adrian Flux have covered us with the AA for breakdown and recovery for the UK and abroad. The recovery is commercial recovery because of the size.

Our van is 20 years old and covered through our insurers: Adrian Flux.
Full breakdown and recovery service but is extra to the insurance policy, and an add-on.

Are you a member of either the C&MC or CC?
C&MC didn’t use to have restrictions on their policies with Green Flag.
I read somewhere that the CC use the RAC.
If you go through the CC, there’s no restrictions on age, size or weight but some policies with the RAC directly have.
It may be a start for you if you are a member of either club to contact them and enquire.
Both offer packages whereby the cover you so it will cover any vehicle in your household that you drive.

Last year I insured with AIB and they also arranged breakdown recovery.
This year I have returned to SAGA who are once again offering breakdown recovery for my van. They have moved from AA to RAC.
