My son has a merc 614 self converted.
his insurance is up for renewal so shopped around and got a good deal with Sureterm,problem is there's no breakdown or European cover,any suggestions were he might get this.

Has he tried safeguard, as this compant does m/h ins and european breakdown cover all in one and it covers for breakdown over 3.5t with no recovery limit (very important), as some breakdown companys like the RAC arrival scheme through c&cc limit recovery to max £2500,

I use ADAC. They also help with medical problems. Landed up in hospital in Benidorm just before xmas. They ordered ambulance for me and kept in regular contact with me incase i needed repatriation . Had to use my E111 but it was nice to know they were there. About £80 per year. BUSBY.

its an RAC cover cover limit is overall £2500, continental cover is at £500 per incident ( not including parts costs ) max outside UK 120 days, that appears to be for both insurance cover and breakdown.

i made the mistake of taking breakdown cover out last year... its already covered by Fiat Camper Assist for full 2 years oh: and i have a year to go. so will be renewing the insurance with Comfort next week but not Breakdown until this time next year.

Ours is covered for 3 years by Fiat, we have our breakdown cover ending end of march from fiat.
I contacted comfort and they said I could cancel insurance cover as it doesn't run out till 6th May and start both again for end of march but it would mean losing one months insurance, cant get around it any other way.
