brakes need looking at --please

had a brake warning light come on, on our trip to lewes, had the the AA man out to look , but i need to have my brakes looked at

where do you take a 24ft vechicle to be checked

thanks for help

:Cool: We usually do it ourselves. In the meantime, any garage that says they MOT/service class 4 (IV) vehicles should be able to do it for you.

brake pads have sensors built in them that complete a circuit and switch on a warning light when they a worn down and need replacing. you should be able to get them checked/replaced at any commercial vehicle workshop. Although any garage with a suitable jack can handle it, as can brake and tyre specialists. vehicle is left outside so length is irrelevant:thumb::thumb:

Hi Fabweb what type of motorhome is it? I presume it has hydraulic brakes in which case is it something simple such as low brakefluid level or does the light only come on when you brake? The latter would indicate low brakepads.
