Brake repair estimate? (1 Viewer)

Can someone out there let me know what approximate cost to replace brake pads? If you can give me an estimate of what price range I should expect? I am in Italy and the brake light has come on and I want to get it checked out. But before I do I would like to know how much I should be looking at so I don't get ripped off?
If I get to a suitable location I will check the brakes to see if I need just front, just back, or all four done.

the light can mean a few things other than worn pads.............low fluid etc.

a fully equipped workshop should take no more than 3/4 of an hour to do the front pads if nothing has seized up and probably not much more for the rears.

Will check this out morrow.would like to think it is nothing more then low fluid levels but they were fine last time I checked. But I haven't checked for a couple of weeks. Here's hoping.....
