Now at Salamanca en route to Santiago. To break the journey looking a Bragança

Theee is a good Aire there city looks interesting.

Anyone been there?

The citadel above the aire is worth a wander around.The aire can get busy so don't arrive too late.

We had a very nice meal at a restaurant in the citadel - Tasca do Ze Tuga. Probably the best meal we had in Portugal, taking into account the whole experience.

we enjoyed our stay there, a flyer was put in the vans windscreen to have a lovely meal in the restaurant around the corner, cat remember the name but the walk around town was very nice and we had a walk up to the castle, i would visit again.

Worth a look, yes, we had a meal in a quaint little place with large hams hanging from the ceiling.

Yep defo worth a look, I'm here as we speak currently 12 vans and plenty more room.

Also if you enter from Spain into Portugal at Miranda de Douro there is an amazing spot to sleep next to the old village, it's a lovely village to stroll around, we stayed there last night and its a truly stunning view and really quiet, loads of restaurants in the old village too, just on the other side of the wall to where you park. No services tho.
