Bracket next to tow hook with securing pin, what is it ?

Anyone know what this is for ?

It's on the LHS of the tow hook about 20cm away. It has a securing pin with locking pin onto that.

What's it for ?

PS yes it's on the back of a MoHo.

Presume it’s for attaching breakaway cable when towing.

Apart from a non-descript photo which doesn't give any clues I would say the same.....breakaway cable fixing point

Had it been towing a transverse mounted motorbike trailer and they put an arm onto it when reversing to stop it turning?

That’s what i had wondered, something like a Yo Remorque type of thing, maybe.
