I'm a newbie
We have a 2018 bailey autograph, boxer van with built in tomtom navigation unit. Does anyone know how to update the maps.?
Tried the tomtom web site and it is so confusing, i have downloaded the info from the unit to a usb stick but after that i am lost.

I thought I’d provide my two-penny worth on this.
I have a 2018 Bailey Autograph which had 2016 tomtom maps.
I started a conversation with TomTom who wanted me to give them access to my laptop remotely.
They also said that as my maps were out of date I would have to pay for new ones. (About £100)
I also have the question about what to do with the usb drive that the Uconnect 5” had produced but got no sense from TomTom. Seems they only want you to spend money with them.

Answer!! Download TomTom Home to your computer, run it and insert the usb stick. The app finds it and lo you now have the definitive response which in my case was to download the updated system.
After much time it reported success and I started the engine, turned on the radio and plugged in the usb stick.
“Do you want to upgrade the system?” YES!
35 minutes later the screen responded “SUCCESS!”

You may have to pay for this upgrade. It seems you have one free update from new and as mine had not been updated I just used my freebie.

Hope this helps

The trouble with the built-in TT Uconnect that I had in my old Marquis is that any POI's have to be uploaded individually. Have a standalone TT Camper now although it came with CAMC and ACSI POI's plus a number of others.
