I've followed a number of threads where people complain about the dim lighting on the speedometer at night. Ours is very dim too. I was looking at the Peugeot handbook this afternoon to try to learn about the Peugeot (as opposed to the Bailey) fuses and came across a section which suggests that there is a lighting rheostat giving 8 levels. My van is in storage so I can't try this on my van but perhaps someone with a Boxer, and I imagine any Ducato based vehicle, can try it.
The controls are on the right hand side of a RHS vehicle where there is the 'Mode' function for changing the clock etc. The manual says:
LIGHTING RHEOSTAT
The lighting rheostat is active when the lighting is on. Use the up and down arrows to control the brightness of the instrument panel. There are 8 levels.
Be interested in to know if this works.
