does anyone have any experience of having the pooch insured for going foreign?

the dreaded "tesco" pet insurance, max 60 days in any year without extra costs. dependent on dog bread around £20 / month +/ - £ or 2. had it 5 years all is well. if you have a club card make sure you say you get extra discount and points make prizes

I assume you have a pet passport

We're insured with M&S, don't know how good they are as we haven't had to claim (yet!!).

We are with AXA, the same as the Caravan Club use. Their policy includes European cover. We were with E and L and had to pay an additional premium everytime we went. Getting them to payout in the UK was bad enough so moved.
