They work i have had one for a few years now, bought it to help mums static caravan after a leak caused by someone turning the water supply on after the system had been drained down and boiler plug removed one year. It took time but it did do the job - only thing i remember was it said it worked better when the temp around it was such and such so we also plugged one of those oil filled rads in to create the ambient temp for the dehumidifyer to work proper.
