This problem has come up before on a few vans, in which it was found to be the hab door seal not locating properly allowing water to ingress which will run down and collect in footwell.
To locate the spot that is allowing water to ingress involved placing a thin piece of paper in the door jam, close the door and feel how much friction there is in pulling it out. Do this simple test arround the entire door frame, you should find out where the seal is not sealing and be able to make adjustments to the door hinges, or get a new door seal.
Hope That helps.
