So why you looking!
I couldn't find my original thread which was about at dometic fridge not getting that could
Tried it on all settings and all power supplies and its average at best
Freezer seems ok maybe

Someone suggested do the paper test on the seal

Im down at Cornish farm tonight having the Growler fitted tomorrow

If I use a piece of paper in the seal and shut the fridge true there is not much resistance

Might be it but Im not convinced

Like I said boring thread really

Red is nice though

Cheers

in the search box at the top right hand side of the page, put in your name and listed is your old thread.

As I recall your van is new. As mentioned before, book your van in for a fault on the fridge. Normal practice is that you will wait ages for a schedule slot. That way you can do all your testing ready for the inspection with full basic efforts you have undertaken armed with your findings especially around temperature readings. You could then be in a position to demand immediately a replacement fridge if there are issues that cannot be rectified.

Love the thread title.(y)

If it's not working very well on all energy sources you could try taking the cooling fins off and replacing the heat transfer compound may not be making very good contact.

yep winter project even though only 6 months old dealers are a waist of time

Try an infrared thermometer gun to give accurate spot readings of the fridge temperature in different places. If you haven't already got one they only cost about £15 or less.
