Are there any good books out there (pref with pictures) on how to do your van up, and/or how to fix common problems? ::bigsmile:

Great stuff, I need a book to give to my bf. He finishes uni soon and I need to give him something to read to get him more excited about the whole thing. Cheers!

    Haynes Motorcaravan Manual

I have a copy of this book. It has a bias towards English rather than Continental vans, but a lot of the information is generally applicable. As well as the sections on maintenance, there is a section on self-building. The author has built three or four motorhomes. I think it is a good general reference.
