Hi everyone.
Is it wise to book now for bonterra park campsite for a 2/3 month stay starting Nov this year.
Its our 1st time to Spain and we want to get it right
Is it wise to pay by bankers order, or shall we just turn up & hope a place is available at bonterra or indeed any other campsite on that coast
We then intend to move on to Portugal for another 3 months visiting various places.
then on into France moving up the west coast to complete our 8 month away from blighty.
many thanks for any help
Warmest regards, Howard & Irene

According to the Caravan Club - they speak English in reception at Bonterra Park and they do take advance bookings.

hi and welcome to the FUN.

shouldnt be a problem in november as the town is very tourist orientated and will be quite.

still worth booking though, but ring them...you may haggle an extra discount that you wont get online and yes, they speak good english.

looks like its around 11.50 euro per night for a gold pitch(80/90 m2) and two adults between 90 and 120 nights + 10amp leccy at 0.33 euro per kilowatt metered .

hope this helps,

john.

Bonaterra Park

Hi Howardirene
We are at present on Bonaterra park and have been here since Novemember 1st 2008 there has been no problem with people just turning up and gettng booked in. It does start to fill up mid Dec and through into Jan because of chris and the Jan festivals. you can book in advance but you can also pay on a monthly basis. You can also book through C C C but you would have to pay up front. there has always been spaces available while we been here at times choice pitches are full but there is always movement and people move pitches to get a better position All the Best from Sunny Spain its been blue skies and sun all this week Bob

:thumb:hi we are on our way to bonterra park now been going there for 5 years , think its best to ring them to book a place they will ask for a 100 eruro deposit . at least you will no that there is a pitch for you . we have been there when people have just turned up and they have not had room for them. as for big r,v,s they have to park at the top of the site under the trees .bonterra is a lovely site but can get busy ,the town bennicassn is great and very safe,
