Yesterday I was looking on the caravan club website at crossings for our trip to France next month. I usually book well in advance but we weren't sure on dates until now.
I didn't book at the time so was surprised today to receive a confirmation email for my booking. It looked a genuine email but I was wary so didn't open it but rang them and apparently somehow these emails are being sent to people who have looked on the site but not actually booked and they are looking into it to find out why.
So beware and don't click on the attachment. Fortunately I am very cautious regarding emails.
