Hi Olley

Whilst it is a brilliant weekend of racing, and the fireworks are excellent, the camping is very very noisy.

We went once, would go again, but not to sleep there:Sad:

Hi Sharon, after a few drinks I won't be bothered about noise.::bigsmile:
Besides I sleep like a log, nothing short of nuclear normally wakes me.

We're booked in with the ARVE who get a patch of hard standing on the pit lane side of the track. We're going to pay at the gates as we pre-paid for tickets a few years ago but the weather was so bad there was hardly any running. Still had a lot of fun and the ARVE do put on a cracking supper!

Hi Doug and Olley
Does the ARVE extend the invitation to non ARVE members? I would seriously consider going if we could park round by the track side instead of with the drunks letting off fireworks into the small hours like last ime we went......
If they do can you please let us know?
Thanks

Keith

Its not looking good for us  Susan has got to go in to work Saturday morning, so if we go friday we have to come back early morning, or don't go till midday Saturday.

Hi Keith just phoned jenni, just turn up and pay at tha gate tell them your with the ARVE and you will be directed over to the hard standing with the rest of them, no problem not being a member.

Getting cabin fever, so I think we will go friday, come back early in the car and then return early afternoon, hopefully all the dragsters won't have finished
