Never leave a campsite with your clothes line tied to a lamp post.
I have checked through past threads and not found a specific answer so I apologize if I am bringing up an old subject that has been done to death.

Having purchased our new toy we have been removing the chalky layer on the gel coat and waxing like things possessed. The result is amazing and the van has come up like new so we are very happy.....BUT....the seals between the body panels are badly stained with black mould and this rather ruins the overall effect. We have found a toothbrush is the best implement for getting in there, but what do you guys use to get rid of the mould?

Cleaning

Put some white spirit on a cloth and rub over sealant hey presto nice and white. Just dampen cloth do not soak then try a small area. Works for me..... Good luck

I've been polishing mine today as I need to re seal the overcab and I found the Autoglym resin polish cleaned the old sealant too.

Not related to the question about cleaning seals, but so far as the gel coat on the moulded sections (all of the front and top of the back in my case) I have found Farecla Gel Coat Restorer to be the best solution to maintaining the appearance. I used to use Autoglym Resin Polish all over, but that is now reserved for the aluminium side and back panels - Farecla is much better on gel in my opinion.
I use the Farecla version with wax included (one job instead of two). It is available from yacht chandlers and was designed for marine application.
