Thanks Graham, I have printed it off, together with the French notes to go with the Disabled badge.

When are you going from and to... we're off on the 14th, first to the Berny meet and then on to.... Millau, not in a straight line though ::bigsmile: returning to the UK on 10th May... probably up the middle and left a bit (Charente/Loire area)

Hoping to keep in touch with the forum...free wifi permitting:ROFLMAO:

We leave on Sunday, Dover - Dunkirk. We hope to be away for 5 weeks, but can extend if we need/want to stay longer. We are intending to be back for the Stratford Show and hope that Jim posts info before we leave.

We have no set destination in mind, I want to go to the Carcassonne area and Michael wants to go to Laruns just south of Pau to see friends he has not visited for 50 years!

I would like to go to Canet Plage, where we spent our honeymoon, in a tent, with 3 stroppy kids! After that we will chase the sun and if possible meander up the coast stopping and staying as close to the sea as possible!

Its a great life!!!

Hi G & M,

If you use the Autoroutes you can get a reduction on the toll. Just produce your badge and ask for "Class one Disabled" If your French is poor just get it translated and print it out then you can produce it with your badge. ::bigsmile:

The reduction is only meant for vehicles up to 3500kg but I've known motorhomes of 3850 kg to get the reduction. ::bigsmile:

Safe travelling.

That's great news, Don! We'll be travelling with my mum later in the year (when we bring her over for her annual holiday with us), so the reduction in tolls is great to know about! She's newly-registered as she's now registered-blind, so she gets a blue badge (even though they've no longer got a car themselves). Every little helps:thumb:
