Hi All, I'm installing a 12v TV into my campscout, which is a Cello 20" comes with an adaptor which says it is 5amp, i was hoping to tap into the 12v supply in one of the cupboards above the bed in the back that feeds the lighting track, the light is 0.125amp, so why would the 10amp fuse for that circuit blow when i plugged in the socket?

im assuming that the wiring in the socket, brown is positive blue is negative, however the light track is fitted the other way around, brown into blue and blue into brown.

I think you will find brown is negative blue is positive in most Euro vans.
Hope you haven't damaged your TV.

Ah that would explain it, fortunately the tv was not plugged into the adaptor. When amazon deliver the new fuses, I’ll try again!

Thanks.
