I do not have your problem but looking up the drug ....
Common side effects of Isoptin SR (verapamil HCl) include:
  • dizziness,
  • slow heartbeat,
  • constipation,
  • nausea,
  • headache,
  • tiredness,
  • skin rash or itching, or.
  • flushing (warmth, itching, redness, or tingly feeling under your skin). I hope the cure is better than these side effects.

Living the dream.
Blood pressure. About all I know about it is that you need some. ;)

Good luck with the tablets, some don't work for everyone. (y)

An Internet forum for motorhome enthusiasts is possibly one of the last places I would choose to enquire about medical stuff...

Indeed, I am pretty dubious about consulting "proper" doctors. ;)

Probably best if you ask your doctor.

... and I said it would be the last place I would enquire about medical matters.

You feel differently and fair play to you...

Please never ever worry about what I think.

I've got a good mate who over a number of years has had his blood pressure tablets changed due to side effect problems and clashes with other medications (he's actually a bit of a wreck but we all like him!). On each change it's taken him at least a couple of weeks to settle down.
If you're concerned and cannot see your doctor have a word with a pharmacist, they're very knowledgeable about medications and side effects.
But don't suffer in silence for too long.

I went through several types of tablet until they found one that works for me. If I were you I would go back and ask for a different tablet.
