We want the audio on for the sat nav but can't seem to be able to do so without the radio coming on on too.

We've checked the instruction manual and it says you can select the audio for each system individually and have muted the radio. The trouble is that every time there's a sat nav instruction, the radio comes on again.

Can anyone help please?

It's the same with all the combined units, you can turn off the sound but you loose the satnav sound as well.
What you need to do is select an input you are not using such as Aux1 or Aux 2. My TV is connected to Aux 2 in my unit so I select that as there is no input with the TV turned off.

Thanks Lenny - will try that.

It's strange that you can't just select the volume independently isn't it?

I just turn the volume down on the radio, while the sat nav voice remains at a constant level.
There’s a sub menu to adjust volume controls, to achieve the correct ‘balance’ of sounds.
It took me a while to discover and master this function.
I have no idea if Blaupunkt units have this functionality!

Yes, there's a sub-menu and I turned off the radio volume and raised the nav volume. I thought that would sort it, but no. The problem was that as soon as the nav audio came on the radio did too.

So if you turn the radio down it’ll be quiet until a navigation instruction resets the volume. I can see how annoying that would be. Aux input it is then...
Perhaps YouTube has some answers, there must be plenty of Blaupunkt owners out there!
