Blaupunkt Philadelphia 845 continuity problem (1 Viewer)

I utilize the unit for sound from the TV to go through it and recently having changed no settings to my knowledge after about 30 minutes the unit closes down completely? The only way to boot it up again is to press a toothpick into the reset hole.

Also when I use the Navigation system if we pull up for fuel/ coffee etc and turn the engine off I have to completely re enter the destination process all over again,it never did this previously.

I have been through the User Manual lots of times and cannot find a fix,I've also spoken to the Blaupunkt Dealer who said there is normally a switch to keep it powered up on the Dashboard for when the Ignition key is removed but I cannot find one and I traced the wiring from the unit,however,it worked fine for over a year.

I know there aren't lots of people out there with these units but if you can assist particularly having experienced the same issue I would be most grateful.

It sounds like youve lost one of the 12v+ supplies to the unit.
You should call Autosound in Bradford, they are Blaupunkt main agents in the UK
