black marks on awning

Hi everyone, how do i get rid of these black marks , i don't remember putting it in damp ,there are marks on top as well, could i use a spray bleach such as cillit bang or similar , hope i have not ruined it:(

Be careful with what you use. I had some marks on mine and used a variation of cleaning agents such as Fenwicks, PVC cleaner and Black streak remover etc.
One of them has left a purple coloured mark on the awning material, so one of them doesn't agree with the material.
I read somewhere on here that star drops mixed week with warm water may do it but i've yet to try it.
 
Hi there. We have used the Cillit bang Black Mould remover and it did the trick for us. Similar marks to be honest.

Yes it is...but it works without the staining effect that bleach as if used neat. We used it on our awning on our truck we have currently (Delaware) The awning is plastic basically and so it does not stain. Kev sprayed it on and gave it 2 mins and it started to come off. Gave it a few more mins and it all came away with out a mark being left behind. Use it now on the silicon sealant (If that is what it is) that they use when joining panels on the motorhome. Up to date...no problems . It has now become part of the kit we now use for anything grubby that needs to be got rid of now
