Hi,
Airbag ecu being disconnected to send to crashdata. Have removed the 3 ecu bolts, ready to disconnect the cab battery neg. To leave for 1 hour before removing the airbag ecu connectors
Problem on the 12v -neg post. Very hard to disconnect from the post with all sorts of stuff connected... see photo...
Would you have to remove all separately or can it be removed in one unit?

you should be able to just undo and lift out of way, slid a piece of cardboard under so it doesn't touch again,

The black box above the connection platform is the power disconnect relay, which is operated by the key and little knob adjacent to it. This effectively disconnects the battery for period of storage, if you wish to do so.
This may in itself be sufficient or an air bag ECU disconnect, however, if you want to totally disconnect the negative terminal, then release the battery post clamp and you should be able to manouver the whole assembly clear of the post. As Al-Di suggests, slip a card underneath to prevent reconnection.

Thanks,
That worked a treat. Ecu sent to crashdata, returned fixed (low voltage) next day. 18 month old Cab battery which was fed on solar and ehu over winter. Replaced on warranty.
All reconnected, no fault lights.
Happy days
Well done for coming back and updating.(y) So few do.:(
And, most of all, pleased you're now back up and running!(y)
