Not being pedantic but birth is bring new life into the world and berth is where you sleep! Please use in the correct tense!
Not being pedantic but birth and berth are nouns and I'd suggest that they don't change with tenses (in English at least) ;) but I could be wrong....

I thought weren't allowed to correct grammer or spelling on this forum.

Not in the normal run of things, but the OP's original post is about spelling/grammar (see what I did there!) and I would suggest that means all such bets are off!

I don’t think pointing out use of the wrong word is correcting either grammar or spelling.
but the person using birth probably means berth, so that would be a spelling error, have consideration for those on here who have things like dyslexia, does it matter if we know from the context what is meant. think reading jim s rules may be in order.

Speculation, sorry that counts for nothing. You’re just guessing re the dyslexia. Perhaps it is just lazy use of language.

tense noun [C] (VERB FORM) grammar. any of the forms of a verb which show the time at which an action happened: "I sing" is in the present tense and shows action happening now, and "I will sing" is in the future tense, showing action that will happen later. tense

I wish I could sing

Spelling could be important. Is it ”definitely” or “definitely” 😂😂😂

I would never point out a grammar defect to some one.
My wife is dyslexic and whilst she tries really hard she doesn’t always get it right but I always know what she means.
