Normally straight off the ferry Bilbao, Haro, Benicassim. Off 30/8 for seven weeks. The other half wants to travel down through Portugal slowly as it will still be rather hot down South, ending up at Bonterra Park. Never been this route before so any suggestions on nice accessable sites (7.2 metre Adria) and not too difficult access would be much appreciated. Many Thanks.

We are on the ferry to Bilbao on 30/8 then to Burgos/Plasencia/Evora/Setabul(stay i week) then to Calahonda(2 weeks) then Cabo De Gata(6 weeks). Leaving our motorhome onsite and flying from Almeria to Perth for 14 weeks returning mid March for another 6 weeks at Cabo . Well thats the plan, will look out for your Adria on the 30th , we stay overnight at the ferry port so arriving about 10.00pm on the 29/8

We did France to Portugal to Spain last year, unfortunately for the first time John did not keep a note of the route. Loved Alvor in Portugal, ther is also an aire near the beach, but ACSI rates at camp site similar and it had shade a pool a bar and was almost next door to a supermarket. It has supplanted Armacao de Pera as our favourite place in Portugal.
Friends we travelled some of the time with are away at the moment, will try to get the route and campsites from them. Sounds like a great trip, might see you at Bonterra we usually call in even if only for 1 night.
