i am fitting a bike rack to the back of my mh the bolts are not long enough, i can not decide if they are stainless or plated , any ideas please

When our awning was fitted, plated bolts were used. Within a few weeks we had orange streaks on the side of the van due to the bolts rusting. Use stainless steel bolts or you may well suffer the same.
