Bike carrier (1 Viewer)

My B544 has the top bike carrier bits which look like they have covers on them, I assume they pop off to allow fitting of a bike carrier.

There is no bottom fitting though and don't know what size bike carrier will fit my van, I assume there will be a wooden block in the wall to screw the bike carrier bottom bracket to.

Any idea where I can find this info ?

The covers come off and the top of the rack hooks in, the bottom has 2 bolts on each side. I don't think there are any blocks as they normally use an aluminium spreader plate on the inside wall.

My bike carrier is mounted off centre to avoid the bathroom and the bottom carrier is mounted low enough to have the spreader plates hidden inside the under bed locker.

When I fitted the rack on my Burstner, I emailed them and they sent me back a drawing of where the reinforcements were in the back wall. Fitting the bottom brackets outside this area, even with spreader plates could locally compress the back wall of your van.
