For those who preferred a wider forum format, where the site fills the whole screen, we used to have a "Fun Wide" Style I know Two on Tour and Gromett were especially missing this.

We have not added a separate wide style as before. But even better, we've added the facilty for you to change either the light or dark theme to a wide style, with a simple click at the bottom of the page. "Change Width". You need to be ona big screen to see the difference. If you click it on a phone or ipad nothing will happen. The change Width button is at bottom left. (y).

And I am busy at work doing "firefox stylus" css changes :p  :ROFLMAO:

Two on Tour what screen resolution are you guys at? I didn't quite go for the 4K only the 1440p. But the extra screen real estate is amazing for development work and media.
Thinking of going ultrawide 4K next time.

We are away in the van at present so not on my PC, but on my old Levovo T420 laptop running Windows 7 that I using at the moment in the van it's all looking good and wide on the 1600 x 900 res my laptop is running at without touching a thing.
Clicked the "Change width" and that introduced a border on both sides of the page, clicked back to full width to fill the page.

Many thanks for the "Change width" addition. (y)

I find the wide setting a bit too wide, I have to turn my head side to side to scan the screen.

Sit further back from the screen, and increase the size of the text (and other stuff) using [CTRL] & [+] keys together. Then it's just your eyes that need to move. Means you can lean back and relax whilst browsing.

Without going for bragging rights 27" screen at 2560x1440 that I then generally scale for the windows desktop icons and stuff at 125%, and currently have the browser (chrome) set to a 120% scale in a widescreen window. Oh and other stuff runs on the second 27" screen. Was contemplating a 38" curved gaming widescreen to replace both but the one I wanted was a bit too extravagantly priced despite sales.

Exactly what I use.

My new CSS override is almost done. still a bit to work on but getting there :)

I operate at 100% and reduce font sizes for out of main area stuff.

I hate the wide settings, I set my windows to as small as I can get them without them breaking. To have the left menu 4ft from the notifications on the right just mean miles of mouse movement for zero gain.

Same here for my center screen at home with a 24" either side for my three screen setup.

I was not going to say anything as I did not want to make Lenny feel inadequate with only having 24 inches.
