Tomorrow 27th is going to be a very big day.
Going to put down a deposit on a new motorhome.
To pay for the MH will need some of my tax free money from my pension.
The upshot by buying the MH will mean I will have to take early retirement too.

So tomorrow will be the start of the last phase of my life.
Retirement in the beginning of August.
Motorhome in September.
Freedom to have the time to travel, enjoy life, and do whatever we like.
Getting excited and slightly nervous about it all.

Very exciting!!

You've planned your retirement and I think that's one of the key things to do... so that you retire to something rather than from something. :D

Going to Hayes to put deposit down on a Pilote P740C.
Getting 4.4 chassis, 150hp engine, auto box, and raising bed.
Once we have it need to sort out Growler, satellite dish/tv, Alugas, solar panel and small motorcycle for the garage.
The good thing is that it all falls into place.
Retiring means we will have time to travel as well as the money to enjoy it.

Our plans have something in common:

Tomorrow @Grumpty & I meet at Newark where I hand over my Hymer.

My Le Voyager RX958 awaits at Hayes - deposit paid & collection to be arranged mid-Feb.

Say 'Hello' when you see it.:)

Congrats on your Pilote - I'm sure you'll have some happy times ahead.:D

That looks a very sweet machine. Enjoy your "enforced" retirement as the man said "the world is your lobster"

Over 6000 miles between 3 March to 26 September 2017.
Congratulations and great to see so many new Pilote owners. Even though ours is only a "baby" compared to what most get (it's the P650GJ), we love it and have been surprised that we have seen so few Pilote's (actually only one!) on our travels. Hayes are a brilliant dealer, a true family firm and so helpful.

GONE AND DONE IT !!!
Great service from Hayes.
Had a last check on the MH we were looking at for the very final time.
Went to the office to select the options and colour scheme
Time for lunch at pizza hut to settle our thoughts.
Back after eating to sign on the dotted line and pay deposit.
Good, happy friendly experience, well done Hayes for that.
Left in a bit of a fuzzy head after years of planning now coming together.
Roll on September.

In the news last week that Sky are moving all broadcasts onto an internet streaming platform. Not too far off either, 2019-20 apparently.
Not sure if there are other broadcasters it will be possible to watch but do research before you buy (y)
