Rears have plenty of tread so not looking to change them.Toyo Observe Van, good grip very comfortable ride but you need to fit them to all 4 wheels as they are a winter tyre.
Got Hankook on the RV.Hankook winter tyres.
A lot better than Michelin.Continental Vanco campers are fitted at the moment, what's the verdict on them?
Not surprising my mate was paying £2k - £2.5k for a container from China now paying £20k.Font mess about choosing for too long my tyre supplier has told me all prices are going up next due to the increase in container costs
Firm they have s thicker sidewall like run flats so the don't deform when left for long periods without rolling. Great if that's your mode of operation. However you might be better off with something more forgiving if using regularly.Continental Vanco campers are fitted at the moment, what's the verdict on them?
That traffic jam in the Suez Canal must of had a big impact as well. Not surprising my mate was paying £2k - £2.5k for a container from China now paying £20k.
Not so much a big impact more a gentle grounding.....That traffic jam in the Suez Canal must of had a big impact as well.
Biggest problem is Chinese ports if workers come down with Covid they close the port for seven days also when they get to Felixstowe they can't unload due to most of the space taken up with government PPE containers. That traffic jam in the Suez Canal must of had a big impact as well.
Look at the age of them because it may make sense to move them to the front so you can get some wear out of them before their "best before date". When's that? A matter of opinion but not more than 6 or 7 years in my view. Others may disagree.Rears have plenty of tread so not looking to change them.
Why Lenny have you got to change all 4?Toyo Observe Van, good grip very comfortable ride but you need to fit them to all 4 wheels as they are a winter tyre.
Winter tyres have far more grip and if you travel abroad it would be illegal in a lot of countries. Also tyres with the best tread & grip should be on the rear. Why Lenny have you got to change all 4?
just curious tbh, mine being a tag would I have to change all 6 tyres
Try selling them to someone like builder with a tipping truck or van, they will cut them on a stone or lump of metal before they are any age , so would be glad of some cheap tyresI have continental tyres the ride is nothing short of bone shaking. I have lowered the pressure as much as safe to do so . Slightly better but still harsh ride. Swapping to can tyres nextyear , shame because the tyres are full of tread.
You should try Michelins, Contis are a really nice ride by compared to Michelins.I have continental tyres the ride is nothing short of bone shaking. I have lowered the pressure as much as safe to do so . Slightly better but still harsh ride. Swapping to can tyres nextyear , shame because the tyres are full of tread.

Talk to Continental sounds as though you need the corrected pressures for your axle weight.I have continental tyres the ride is nothing short of bone shaking. I have lowered the pressure as much as safe to do so . Slightly better but still harsh ride. Swapping to can tyres nextyear , shame because the tyres are full of tread.
What is your expected mileage for these tyres ? How are they wearing ?Mine are same size .I fitted Khumo winter portran .£95 delivered. Fantastic grip on snow mud and wet roads .a,lot quieter than the Continentals .they are also 121 walls a lot more stable on corners . Most are 109 or maybe 114.
Having been part of a long term road test for a magazine about 2 years ago I can say without fear or favour the very best all round tyre we tried was the Hankook all weather ( ( their M & S and also winter tyres use almost exactly the same compound and carcass build ) but this is pretty useless info as Hankook do not seem to import them to the UK in the size you need any more .......Any recommends for new tyres for our Autocruise on a fiat, 225x75x16"
Yes, I second thatToyo Observe Van, good grip very comfortable ride but you need to fit them to all 4 wheels as they are a winter tyre.
