Best time to book ferry from northern Spain to Portsmouth (1 Viewer)

Thanks to postings on this forum we have just booked from Harwich to Hook of Holland on Stena Line in September and received a 50% discount.

We are considering returning to England from northern Spain in late November or early December. What is the best time to make this type of booking? It is too far out for us to be precise with a date but what is the general feeling for booking this route? Book well in advance or wait until last minute? Do Brittany Ferries generally discount at certain times of the year? Out alternative might be to return from St Malo...

Booking well in advance gives you the best rate, you only pay £45 deposit and you can go online and quite easily change the date

My suspicion is the earlier the better if you want to choose your cabin.

Earlier the better for prices and cabins.

I plan around 10 months ahead. Winter Prices are okay to book late.
