what would you suggest is the best product to use to seal the gap where 2 exterior panels meet as mine has cracked.

Used to go with the olds! Now I have one of my own :)
Sikaflex seems to be the go to, general purpose sealant for all things motorhome related.

So far, I have successfully used it to reseal leaking window rubbers, fix on a replacement vent cover, seal around cable glands on the underside of the van for new leisure battery cable runs and to mount a solar panel! I believe it's so useful because it sets strongly but retains some flexibility. :cool:

You can get it from screw fix or eBay and probably other places too :)

Hope that helps. No doubt someone will be along soon who can say for sure whether it will be suitable for resealing between panels.

Talking to @Terry at Misterton last year he warned against using ordinary silicone. When I checked with him earlier this year he recommended Puraflex 40. I got some from Toolstation and it seems the bees knees.
