best route requred

    currently we are in munich its is cold and snowy
    we what to make our way to marseille what would be our best and safe route to take

    I would go from Munich E533 to Innsbruck, over the Brenner Pass E45, down past Lake Garda and turn westwards past Brescia towards Piacenza E70 . Down to Genova E70/E25and along the E60 to Marseille.

    Not the shortest or cheapest but in wintry conditions probably the best as it is motorway nearly all the way and you will see some absolutely stunning scenery on the way.

    It is best IMO to avoid the tunnels as the toll charges recently have escalated dramatically.

    Done a lot of that, he should enjoy it.

    It would be nice to read a report on weather as he does the journey.

    would you avoid motorways in austria or buy go box as we have a hymer 694 over 3.5

    the weather is sunny and not to cold last week it was cold and rainny
