Hi folks, I normally head to France via Zaragoza, but this year we are going to Provence for a week or two. Whats the best route heading North past Barcelona? I don't mode paying tolls.

Thanks Frog.

Basically just get onto the AP7.

EDIT AP7 and then E15

We used the toll road, AP7, from near Amposta, south of Tarragona, all the way to just north of Perpignan a few weeks ago.
Just looked back at my CC slips and the total cost was €32.38.
A lot of the motorway around and close to Barcelona is free.

Richard.

As a footie fan I would suggest using the long ball over the top to take out their midfield and put the centre backs under pressure. (y)

Beware the "plain clothes police" in unmarked cars who try to persuade you to stop then when you get out they steal anything they can get their hands on. Have not heard of anything happening recently, apparently the police did catch someone, but it's as well to be aware - don't stop for anybody. The marked cars will lead you off the motorway to a safe stopping place.

Have heard that having a camera handy deters them.
