Whats the best gas to buy, the red or the blue or are they the same? Do they all use the same connector?

I think you need to qualify what you mean. Gas, Red or Blue, are we talking LPG or petrol or something else?

As campers stick to the Red, propane bottles because of the freezing problem with blue in the winter. Make sure you get the proper regulator to go with it.

Year 3 of ownership !
I've just got rid of Butane ( blue bottle) in favour of Propane (red bottle). All year round use, and no worrying over frozen pipes during the winter months.
