We're planning on spending 2 days at the Dusseldorf Show. (Maybe negotiate a new Hymer :D) Is there a better time to visit, ie avoiding traffic jams, likelihood of negotiating best deal etc? I'm guessing it might be packed at the weekends. Any advice from the old hands gratefully received. :)

Best to avoid the first weekend otherwise not much difference on the rest of the days. It doesn't get that crowded as it is spread over such a large area. Best to arrive after 4pm (may be 4:30) as you only pay for daytime parking & servicing is free. We like to get a ferry crossing on Saterday spend the night not to far from Calais then drive up Sunday ready to go to the show on Monday morning.

Went on the Monday and Wednesday last year and it was just right steady walk around and not really having to wait to view any vans..
Did notice the sales chaps very busy so don't know if you have to make an appointment to sit down with them?
