Bessacarr 442 electrical problem

I’ve recently purchased a 2015 Bessacarr 442 on a Fiat Ducato chassis. The problem that I’m having at the moment is that every time I plug the van into a mains point it wipes off the data in the cab and re-sets the date and time to 1.1.14
I’m also finding that my central locking is not always working.. any suggestions please?

I wonder if this could be a earthing problem ? It would be worth contacting Sargent Electrical either by phone or through their website to see if they have any ideas, they are very helpful and may have come across this before.
