I spotted this on ebay Broken Link Removed and thought there was something not quite right.
I realised that the Bessacar body is circa 2000/2002 and they were not made on a Peugeot 2.2 but a Fiat 2.8 tdi or jtd depending on how late in 2001 it was produced. Yet the add claims it to be a 2005/6 vehicle.
This shows a 2002 795 http://www.becksmotorhomes.com/vehicle/2002-bessacarr-e7955 you will see that the graphics extend across the door and round the bonnet. Look at the sellers other items and you will see a bonnet cover that looks suspiciously like the original fiat one.
This is a 2005 795 and you can see the body shape is different http://www.glcarcentre.co.uk/used/f...iles/for-sale-in-kendal-cumbria/aetv61171646/
So it looks to me like this is a marriage of 2 vehicles. If so should it still be called a bessacar? Is it a 2001 or 2005 vehicle? Is the 2.2 ltr engine powerful enough for the body?
I wonder what the seller will tell any potential purchaser.
