Bernard Cornwall is a God IMO:thumb:

I normally wait for books to come out in paperback but his I grab as soon as they come out

I used to REALLY like Wilber Smith but his last one about Tatia was very weird indeed so have bought his latest this week (hardback:Doh: but don't tell my wife) so I will soon see!

Thanks Jim!

Now then! as anyone read Flint and Silver by John Drake? If you like Bernard Cornwall it is a book crying out to be read. The sequel "Pieces of Eight" comes out in hardback in July and I can't wait

Flint and Silver has been passed around at work quicker than a cold!

Excellent reading that you cannot put down:Smile:

Hi Eddie
I read every Wilbur Smith book that was published up until his Egyptian series, seventh scroll etc. I packed up when he wrote the third book in the series, I coudnt get in to it. It was really poor after the first two, thats were he should have stopped.

I tend to get a rush on reading and then wont pick up a book for ages. Just now is one of my wont pick up a book periods. Were away for a week next week and theres loads of books in the van so maybe youve jogged me a bit. You cant beat a good read.

Cheers
Jim
