Got your attention? OK we are at the camperstop in Valencia. Could be in Benidorm tomorrow. Is it as busy on sites as everyone we meet who are on their way home say? Never been before but have followed the antics of many. What do you think?

following this with interest as we are heading for Benidorm on 5th april. spending a week down there then mosying back up via West coast France until return tunnel crossing on 29th april. i will be logging down details in my little black book of any campsites/aires you recommend.

Hi Hel999, We are on Valencia camperstop tonight ( great welcome,great showers, 10 amp leccy and brilll wifi for 17euros. Would recommend the following we stayed at on way down: Canterbury aire £3 anight, Nonancourt aire (free), Valancy aire (free), Camp Verger-- great site, fun supporter) Aire at San Sebastian 3.25 euros great city and very handy aire. Cascante aire free and good spot.

Hmm maybe that is why hubby is so insistent on visiting Benidorm. He told me it was to see the 'old town' which is supposed to be very pretty. Not sure if ive been conned but as long as i have sea, sun and wine im happy.

Sounds suspicious to me.....there are plenty of much older and better old towns in Spain!!

Seconded, all the brit, german & dutch snowbirds seem to head for home in April. Reluctantly we have found we need to book for Jan Feb march, so have already booked for 2017

We sail with Brittany Ferries from Portsmouth to Bilbao on the 5th April, arrive on the 6th and usually skirt Madrid on the way south. There are various routes but we prefer this way, we never hurry, just steady away.

Arrived at Villasol and had a choice of 10 pitches.Settled on 905.Very windy drive this morning but much calmer here.
